These are solid wood mailboxes made to stand outdoors, either on a post of their own or fixed to the wall by the door. Each one is handmade after your order is confirmed, and the workshop shares progress photos as the box comes together.
Boxes run 6 inches deep and 12 tall, at either 14 or 16 inches wide. The wider one takes large envelopes and small padded mailers without bending them. The finish list covers Black, Oak, Brown and Walnut tones. Post-mounted models suit a driveway or a long front path where the box stands away from the house. Wall-mounted models sit by the entrance, usually under some cover. The newspaper slot version adds a lower opening so a rolled paper never blocks the mail.
