Wood Mushroom Shelves
Each shelf in this group is a single curved cap, carved from a solid piece of timber and set on a short wall bracket. There is no veneer and no glued-up board. Carving starts once your order arrives, and photos from the bench go out to you at each stage so you can see how the cap and grain are turning out.
Two footprints are offered: a 10" cap and a 12" cap, both standing 8" tall. Take the 10" for a nursery wall, beside a doorway or anywhere the shelf sits at eye level in a narrow space. The 12" gives more surface for a plant pot or a small stack of objects. Colour options run black, oak, brown and walnut, so you can either match existing joinery or let the shelf read as its own object. Within the styles, the single mushroom is the quiet choice, a clustered pair builds a small composition on a bare wall, the tall stem version lifts the cap away from the wall for taller items beneath, and the corner fit tucks into a return where a straight shelf would not sit.
