half-moon-desk-with-live-edge-front-and-slab-base
Half-Moon Desk with Live Edge Front and Slab Base

The top is one wide slab with a deep curve cut out of the front, so the working edge follows the natural line of the tree and leaves room for a chair. Bark line and dark inclusions run along that edge. At the right the slab drops onto a full thickness pedestal of the same wood, its face rough at the sides and smooth on the front, while a black steel frame supports the left end.

Solid wood, nothing veneered. The slab and the pedestal are dressed by hand, the voids cleaned and stabilised, the surface sanded until it is level but still shows every knot. Each desk is made to order, which is why the outline of your front edge and the marks in your pedestal will differ from this one. Photographs go out at each stage for your approval.

It comes apart for the journey. Slab, pedestal and steel frame are packed as separate pieces, which lowers the risk of damage and cuts the freight cost. A printed assembly guide is in the crate and our team answers questions by email. Free worldwide delivery on every order, a tracking number when the crate leaves, and 30 days to return.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0988/9388/9720/files/img-1_4daa487f-366b-48d4-a165-49759ff775bf.jpg?v=1792062185
